Disaster is popularly known as “worst
situation” that strikes a community rendering it to an catastrophe is
putting them to an extend of “catch-22 situation”, where community is
left with a limited resources to cope up with any eventualities.
It is proven from recent disasters that stroke this country, which
time has come to prepare our self to meet any challenges posed by ugly
face of a Disaster. Realizing the economic losses nation is suffered from
time to time; Government has shifted its focus from traditional Calamity
Relief activities to Risk Management involving preparedness, prevention,
mitigation plans to attain
sustainable reduction in Disaster Risk, which we need to make a habit, not
only a subject to read in a leisure time
