17th SAKD Camp Conducted at Abali in Lower Dibang Valley District

Roing, Feb 15: The 17th Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar Camp conducted at the Rekho of Abali village in the Lower Dibang Valley district saw the people of the place and nearby villages coming to benefit from the services provided by the government departments, today.

Under the services provided during the health camp conducted on the day, 157 patients registered and were given free health check up by the Health department. 86 blood sugar tests, 5 malaria tests, 26 BMI measurements, 20 human toxin tests, 6 immunisations and 8 blood grouping tests were done.

The textile and handicrafts department issued 9 weavers identity cards and distributed free cotton yarn to 15 beneficiaries. BDO, Doing issued 9 new job cards under MGNREGA and created awareness on different schemes.

State Bank of India issued 278 forms on various services and APEX bank opened 5 accounts during the camp. APEDA sold 240 units of energy efficient bulbs to 52 beneficiaries and 4 fans to 3 people.

5 Ration cards were renewed and 4 beneficiaries were provided with new LPG connections under UJJAWALA scheme by the food and civil supplies department. 14 birth certificates were issued, 6 new AADHAAR enrollments and 1 updating was done by the department of Economics and Statistics.

The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary treated 373 livestock by providing supplements and medicines to the owners.

The Judicial branch registered 25 affidavits during the day.The DLSA also created awareness and provided legal aid to 92 beneficiaries.
