4th DLMC meeting and 3rd SAD camp to mark GGW22

Roing, Dec 19: The 4th District Level Monitoring Committee Meeting for LDV was conducted today alongside the 3rd Seva Apke Dwar camp to mark the Good Governance Week 22 at Koronu village, in the presence of Mentor Secretary Neeraj Semwal IAS (Commissioner, Transport), Deputy Commissioner Soumya Saurabh, ZPC Tony Borang, ZPM( Koronu) Monti Linggi, ZPM(Roing) Komji Linggi, SP J. K. Lego, AC Mamta Yadav and heads of departments.

The progress of projects undertaken under CSS and State Sponsored Schemes and central and state flagship programmes were reviewed and monitored. The observation of Good Governance Week 22 from 19th-25th December 2022 was launched during the meeting.

Mentor Secretary of LDV Neeraj Semwal (Comm,Transport) reviewed the progress in implementation of schemes in the district and advised all to ensure provision of maximum benefits to the people. New schemes are constantly introduced and it is our duty to inform the public and motivate them to avail the benefits, he stated.

DC Soumya Saurabh advised all to ensure quality of work in all the projects undertaken in the district. She also highlighted the practical difficulties faced in implementing some newly introduced schemes and execution problems faced by the departments.

ZPC Tony Borang stated that geographical feasibility should be taken in account while allocation of schemes amongst the districts. He called the Seva Apke Dwar 2.0 camps fair, convenient and beneficial to the public.

ZPM (Roing) Komji Linggi highlighted some of the issues faced by the public in availing the state flagship schemes. ZPM (koronu) Monti Linggi made a request to the Commissioner Transport to restart local transport bus service from Roing to Koronu and nearby areas for the convenience of the local public.

The 3rd Seva Apke Dwar 2.0 camp saw 309 people availing benefits of the 469 people who visited. 18 Birth Certificates and 1 PRC was issued, 2 new vehicles were registered and 6 driving licenses were renewed and 10 Aadhar enrolments and 7 updations were done.
