16th SAKD Camp for LDV Conducted at Kebali

Roing, 12 Feb: The 16th Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar Camp for Lower Dibang Valley district was conducted at the Rekho of Kebali village today, where residents of the nearby villages availed the services provided by the government departments.

Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom (IAS) administered the ethical voting pledge to 91 people during the camp. 55 people cast their votes during the awareness on EVMs and VVPATs Conducted by the Election branch.

In the health camp conducted during the day, 111 patients registered and were given free health check up by the Health department. 85 blood sugar tests, 2 malaria tests, 52 BMI measurements, 26 human toxin tests and 17 blood grouping tests were done.

10 Ration cards were renewed and 4 beneficiaries were provided with new LPG connections under UJJAWALA scheme by the food and civil supplies department. APEDA sold 74 energy efficient bulbs to 17 beneficiaries.

46 farmer’s registrations were done by the agriculture department on the day.The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary treated 466 livestock by providing supplements and medicines to 31 owners. The department also created awareness on various schemes and issued forms to 12 households of the area.

The Economics and Statistics department issued 27 birth certificates during the day and the Judicial branch registered 35 affidavits. The Jan Suvidha branch issued 97 forms of various kinds.

6 weavers identity cards were issued and free cotton yarn was distributed to 4 beneficiaries by the textile and handicrafts departments. DRDA issued 7 job cards under MGNREGA and created awareness on different schemes.

Previously, the 14th and 15th SAKD camps for Lower Dibang Valley district were held at Keba on 4th February and at Banggo on 5th February under Paglam circle of the district.
