9th SAKD Camp Held at Paglam

Roing, Dec 21: The 9th Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar Camp for the Lower Dibang Valley district was held today at Government Secondary School, Paglam village under Dambuk sub division. MLA Gum Tayeng, Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom (IAS) and ADC Dambuk Rujjum Rakshap visited the camp, inspected all the stalls and distributed benefits to the beneficiaries. The camp was inaugurated by a Gaon Burah of the place.

In the health camp conducted during the Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar, 308 patients registered and were given free health check up by the Health department. 144 blood sugar tests, 2 malaria tests, 116 BMI measurements and 27 blood grouping tests were done on the day.

The department of Economics and statistics did 10 new AADHAR enrolments and 19 updations. 14 learner’s licenses were issued by the transport department on the day. The electrical department provided service connection to 31 beneficiaries.

Under Agriculture department, 47 farmer’s registrations were done, 10 soil health cards were distributed. The department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary treated 3223 cases by providing supplements, deworming medicine etc.

Food and Civil Supplies department renewed 24 Ration cards and did 24 Aadhar linking of PDF beneficiaries/ Ration card holders and received14 forms for new LPG connection PMUY. 85 job cards and BPL certificates were issued by the Block Development Officer of Dambuk Paglam CD Block.

The 9th SAKD camp at Paglam was appreciated by the people of the area, who came out in large numbers to take advantage of the doorstep delivery of services.
