About us
The Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency(APEDA) being the Nodal Agency for implementation of Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation activities in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The field where APEDA is actively involved is in harnessing Solar Energy, Hydro Power Energy, Bio Energy and wind Energy. The APEDA has distributed/installed Solar Power Pack Systems, Solar Home Lighting Systems, Solar Power Plants, Solar Street Light, Solar Cold Storage, Solar Dryer, Solar Lanterns, LED/EE Bulbs, Tubes and Fans, Unnat Chullahs and Solar High Mast Lights and Solar Water Pumping System are going to installed within two months under the DDUGJY, Saubhagya, Rural Electrification Programme, PM Kusum Prog., Ujala etc. APEDA has promoted Energy Awareness Programme through various modes like demonstration Project, Model Energy Efficient village Campaign, implementation of Energy Conservation Activities in Schools through Energy Club.
