District Task Force Meeting on Routine Immunization

Roing, Nov 16: A District Task Force Meeting on Routine Immunization, Har Ghar Dastak and COVID 19 vaccination was held today at the DC’s Conference Hall, Roing. Chaired by the Deputy Commissioner K. N. Damo, the meeting was attended by DMO Dr. R. Tatan, DRCHO Dr. Raju Mena, DTFI members, Medical Officers and health department officials.

DC K. N. Damo advised the MO’s, ASHAs and Anganwadi workers to motivate the unvaccinated people to get vaccinated with the COVID 19 vaccination by going house to house, so that the district achieves cent per cent vaccination coverage. We have to do our duty to motivate and also remind the people due for a second dose, to fill up the gap and catch up on the difference between the first dose and the second dose of COVID 19 vaccination in a timely manner, added the DC. He said that the district is performing well but should strive to achieve the target set.

DMO Dr. R. Tatan briefed on 30th November being the deadline for meeting the target of Har Ghar Dastak-cluster approach to find out and vaccinate all the left out population with the COVID 19 vaccination.

DRCHO Dr. Raju Mena briefed on Routine Immunization achieving 146% coverage in the district and COVID 19 vaccination achieving 97% coverage under 1st dose and 71% under second dose.
