‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ PM Narendra Modi’s Virtual Interaction Programme

Roing, May 31: ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ PM Narendra Modi’s Virtual Interaction Programme with beneficiaries of CSS, organised as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebration was held at VKV auditorium, Roing where more than 350 beneficiaries attended the programme.

ZPC Obang Ngupok, DC Soumya Saurabh, heads of departments and PRI members too attended it.

ZPC Obang Ngupok, addressing the gathering, requested all the village folk, farmers and the public to take full advantage of the Chief Minister’s Arogya Arunachal Yojana, a state scheme which provides cashless medical treatment to the registered beneficiaries. Many people have truly benefited from the scheme during their illness and so all PRI members have to inform the public about it and should take the responsibility of getting people registered under the scheme, he added.

DC Soumya Saurabh took the opportunity to highlight about the world No Tobacco Day and the ill effects and consequences of its use by youngsters.

DMO Dr. T. Taki informed about the Ayushman Bharat PMJAY with more than 26% and CMAAY with more than 57 % registered beneficiaries in the district. DAO and DPO also spoke on the occasion.
