LDV’s First COVID 19 Positive Patient Recovers

Roing, June 23: Lower Dibang Valley’s first COVID 19 positive patient has recovered and been discharged from the Covid Care Centre, Roing after 2 consecutive negative tests. He has been sent for the mandatory 14 days Home Quarantine. He was handed over his discharge slip and other protective gear by Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom(IAS) in the presence of Incharge DMO Dr. Ista Pulu and team of doctors and nurses.

The patient has been asymptotic and cooperative throughout his stay at the Covid Care Centre, informed Dr. Ista Pulu.

DC Mitali Namchoom advised that the fight against COVID 19 is a constant and prolonged one with everyone one in government machinery working to keep the disease at bay for the safety and security of the public of the district. She added that any complaints and shortages should be brought to the notice of the authorities directly and that all should acknowledge the hard work being done by the frontline workers, to boost their morale.
