MP Inaugurates Infrastructure Developed under BADP at Hunli

Roing, Nov 16: MP (Rajya Sabha) Mukut Mithi, who is on a 2 days tour to Hunli subdivision, inaugurated a slew of infrastructure developed at Hunli on 15th November 2018.
He inaugurated the newly constructed auditorium, girl’s dormitory, computer lab and CC steps and CC drain at KGBV, Hunli developed under BADP 2017- 18 at Hunli Model Village and executed by DHPD, Roing.
The MP also inaugurated the Indoor Stadium constructed by the department of sports and youth affairs and funded under NEC, in the presence of MLA Mutchu Mithi, DC Mitali Namchoom ( IAS), heads of departments , GBs and public of the area.
MLA Mutchu Mithi inaugurated the the Inspection Bungalow constructed by PWD, community Recreation Centre near SDO office and Bachelor Barrack at Govt. sec. School, Hunli executed by DHPD Roing, on the day. DC Mitali Namchoom inaugurated the Bachelor Barrack at CHC, Hunli on the day.
A public meeting was also held where the MP, MLA and DC along with the SDO and heads of departments heard the grievances of the public and answered to their queries.
The public informed about the difficulties faced due to lack of regular power supply in the area, lack of proper water supply, security wall and playground in the government school at New Elope village, distribution of solar power panels under DDUGJY in the area, requirement of a hostel building at Jamupani school etc.
MP Mukut Mithi assured to look into providing a playground and hostel building for the needy schools under BADP 2019-20.
MLA Mutchu Mithi, addressing the gathering, appreciated the quality infrastructure developed under BADP by the hydropower department and thanked the government and the DA in bringing governance to the doorstep of the people through provision of services and information dissemination during the Sarkar Aap Ke Dwar camps conducted in the district.
He also expressed his concern over the poor inter village / township road of Hunli and poor power connectivity in the area. Replying to the grievances of the public, he stated that problems were being faced due to existing power lines laid in difficult terrain and highway construction works taking place and assured that a comprehensive new plan will be made to tackle the problem.
The DC appraised the public that solar panels will be distributed and all households at Desali and Jamupani, will be electrified (off grid) under Saubhagya Scheme by 31st December 2018.
