The government school at Parbuk, the venue of the SAKD camp, saw hundreds of people turning up to avail the services provided by the government departments today, along with the presence of MLA Gum Tayeng, Deputy Commissioner K. N. Damo, SP J. K. Lego, PRI members, Gaon Burahs and government officers and officials.
The day saw beneficiaries being handed over benefits from various departments by the MLA, DC and SP. MLA Gum Tayeng advised the public to fully use the opportunity to avail all the services provided by the government departments. DC K. N. Damo advised the people to enqire and learn about the central and state welfare schemes, know about the procedure to apply and take advantage of the services provided during the day.
The day saw 300 people coming forward to renew their ration cards, 20 people renewing their ILPs, 30 people applying for ST certificates, PRC and Birth certificates. The Veterinary, AH & DD department provided treatment services for cattle and pets and generated revenue by selling cottage cheese(paneer) and Fishery department sold fishes from fish ponds and provided information on various schemes. The Health and Family Welfare department provided services like on spot treatment, information on various welfare schemes and Immunisation services.
