About us
The Health & Family Welfare is one of the major departments in the district. The District Medial Officer (DMO is the administrative head of the organization in the district. The District Medical Officer has the responsibility for planning, organizing, managing, coordinating, and implementing health & health related activities or programmes in the district. He is also to ensure that professional standards are maintained in delivering affordable and quality health services in the district.
All the National Health Programmes in the district under the umbrella of National Health Mission (NHM) are implementing & monitoring through District Programme Officers (DPOs).
