About us
(i) The department is drawing & lifting Targeted Public Distributions System’s (TPDS) Ration items from designated Food Corporation of India’s Godown (FCI) and make it delivering to the 55 (fifty five) numbers of Fair Price Shops (FPSs) in the District for its further distributions to bonafied Ration Cards Holder(s) under National Food Security Act’2013 (NFSA) as well as issuing free of cost Rice to Priority Household (PHH) & Antodaya Anna Yojna (AAY) under Pradhan Mantri Gharib Kalyan Anna Yojna (PMGKAY).
(ii) The Department is Issuing various scheme’s of Ration Cards Pol-outlets /LPG,Purchasing, Storage & Sale License and FPS/SKO Retailer Licence and its monitoring/carrying out inspections from time to time.
(iii) Besides, One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) Scheme is implementing on which at present 5 (five) beneficiaries of outsider of the state are providing PHH/AAY & PMGKAY rice.
