About us
The District Planning Unit(DPU) functions under District Authority and it implements various CSS and State funded schemes like BADP, PMJVK, MPLADS, MLALADS, Untied Fund, Chief Minister’s District Innovation and Challenge Fund(CMDICF),Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gram Yojana(CMAGY), Non-BADP Assembly Constituency Fund, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swalamban Yojana (DDUSY), Sarkar Aapke Dwar(SAKD) etc. through various E/Agencies of the district. Annual Plan/Proposals of CSS/State funded schemes like BADP, PMJVK, CMAGY, CMDICF etc. are also prepared in consultation with various stakeholders of the district and submitted to the Govt. for further consideration. Besides, it is also responsible for monitoring of Plan schemes and programmes, conduct of regular District Level Monitoring Committee meetings with the E/Agencies and user agencies for effective implementation of CSS/state funded projects/schemes. It acts as per guidance and supervision of State Planning & Investment Department. The DPU is also responsible for conduct of programme like Sarkar Aapke Dwar(DWAR) at various locations of the district, thereby delivering services of the Govt. to the citizens of the district.
