1. Centrally Sponsored Scheme
a. Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH):-

MIDH is a centrally sponsored scheme which aims at promoting holistic growth of the horticulture sector through area based regionally differentiated strategies, which includes research, technology promotion, extension, post harvest management, processing and marketing. Under this scheme, the following are being implemented by the department.

  • Rejuvenation of old citrus orchard
  • Cultivation of Ginger
  • Protected cultivation
  • Integrated pest Management
  • Vermicomposting unit
  • Plastic mulching
  • Anti- hail net
  • Brush Cutter
  • Power Tiller
  • Knapsack Sprayer

b. Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY):-

An umbrella scheme initiated in 2007 for ensuring holistic development of agriculture and allied sectors. The scheme aims at making farming a remunerative economic activity through strengthening the farmer’s effort, risk mitigation and promoting agri-business entrepreneurship. The following programmers are included under this scheme:

  • Rejuvenation of old orchard
  • Development of packaging material for orange
  • Plastic crates

c. RKVY-RAFTAAR (Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation):

The main objective of the scheme is to strengthen the farmer’s efforts through creation of required pre-post-harvest agri-infrastructures that increases access to quality inputs, storage and marketing facilities. Under this scheme, plastic crates at subsidized rate are distributed to the farmers.

d. Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana ( PMKSY):

The Scheme with the motto “Per Drop More Crop” launched on 1st July’2015 aims at achieving end-to-end solutions in irrigation sector by providing irrigation supply chain viz. Water sources, distribution net and farm level applications. The programme implemented under this scheme includes:

  • Installation of drip irrigation
  • Polylined Rainwater Harvesting Structure
  • Dug well
  • Bore Well

II. State Sponsored Schemes
a. Atma Nirbhar Bagwani Yojana (ANBY):

ANBY is an umbrella scheme wherein all the schemes are subsumed under a bank linked credit subsidy scheme which will have a time bound implementation and participation from various stakeholders – Government, Bank, Project Consultants and Progressive Farmers. The beneficiaries under the scheme will be eligible for 45% subsidy from Government of Arunachal Pradesh, 45% bank finance and 10% beneficiaries contribution. The beneficiary will have to provide a collateral security in the shape of land/property or acceptable guarantee for loan amount exceeding 1.6 Lakhs in case of individual and 10 lakhs for SHGs/FPOs. Under this scheme, the following components are included for availing of bank loan:
